About the Role
Our client, the leader in luxury, high-speed rail transportation, is seeking a highly-detailed and customer-oriented contract Marketing Analyst to join their Data Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has at least one year of experience in marketing analytics and strong foundational SQL skills.
In this role, you will support marketing performance analysis, reporting, and insights generation. You will work closely with marketing stakeholders to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and help drive data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing campaign performance across digital channels
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from our data warehouse
- Build and maintain recurring performance reports and dashboards
- Support A/B test analysis and campaign measurement
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CAC, conversion rates, retention, and ROI
- Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to define reporting needs, track success metrics, and define segmentation
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a Marketing Analyst or in a similar analytics role
- Strong working knowledge of SQL (ability to write queries independently)
- Experience working with marketing platforms, preferred experience with Adobe Systems (AJO, CJA)
- Experience analyzing marketing campaign data (paid media, email, web, etc.)
- Familiarity with digital marketing KPIs and performance metrics
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requests into clear, structured, and logically defined requirements that are actionable and executable by Data Analytics and Engineering teams
- Experience working with data warehouses (e.g., DataBricks, BigQuery)
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
Note: This position is remote, but the candidate is expected to work East Coast hours.
