About Corro
At Corro, we believe communication is more than infrastructure. It is a strategic capability, and that belief drives everything we do: building a platform that unifies fragmented systems, preserves the integrity of every message, and unlocks the wisdom hidden in daily conversations. Our mission is simple: to deliver communication tools that are easy to use, seamlessly integrated, and secure by design, empowering both individuals and organisations to work with clarity and control.
The Role
We're seeking a Product Manager to join our product team, reporting to the Head of Product. You'll work closely with our product design team, Principal Researcher and customers to translate complex requirements and user needs into practical product features.
This role requires someone who can bridge technical complexity with user-centricity—understanding both compliance requirements and maintaining relentless focus on delivering value to end users.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Delivery
- Working in an agile environment, coordinate the product backlog for assigned feature areas, prioritising work based on user value, technical dependencies, and strategic objectives
- Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications that engineering teams can confidently build against
- Collaborate with the Head of Product on feature validation planning and release roadmaps
- Work with engineering to resolve technical constraints and trade-offs during implementation
- Coordinate across product design, research, and engineering to ensure coherent feature delivery
User & Market Understanding
- Partner with the Principal Researcher to translate research insights into actionable product requirements
- Lead areas of focussed product research to verify and validate roadmap features.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their operational contexts and pain points
- Track competitive landscape and adjacent solutions in unified communications
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work alongside the product design team to ensure features are both technically sound and user-centred
- Communicate product rationale and priorities clearly to engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders
- Contribute to product positioning and go-to-market materials based on customer insights
- Support demonstration and pilot preparation activities
Strategic Contribution
- Challenge assumptions and apply critical thinking to product decisions
- Identify risks and dependencies early in the product development lifecycle
- Contribute to product strategy discussions with specific customer and market insights
- Help refine Corro's product principles and decision-making frameworks
Required Experience & CapabilitiesEssential
- 3-5 years product management experience in B2B or enterprise software environments
- Experience working in ambiguous, fast paced and agile environments
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, detailed product specifications and user stories
- Experience working with engineering teams through full product development cycles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Australian citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
Highly Valued
- Experience in early-stage or startup environments
- Background in systems thinking or technical domains
- Previous work on communications, collaboration, or infrastructure software
What We're Looking For
You challenge assumptions and ask difficult questions in a respectful, outcomes focused way. You're comfortable with ambiguity but driven to create clarity. You can switch between strategic thinking and detailed execution. You understand that compliance requirements are non-negotiable but refuse to use them as an excuse for poor user experience.
You're energised by working in a small, high-performing team where your contributions directly shape the product and company. You're comfortable with the pace and uncertainty of startup life, and you see the opportunity to build something genuinely important. You’re a team player and work collaboratively with others, avoiding silos and focusing on team success - prioritising relationships and culture over individual objectives.
What We Offer
- Opportunity to shape a product serving enterprise customers
- Direct collaboration with experienced founders and a tight-knit high-performing team
- Flexible working arrangements with a focus on outcomes over presence
- Professional development support aligned with your growth goals
- 12.5% superannuation.
Location & Working Arrangements
This role is remote, based in Australia or New Zealand. Some travel within Australia and New Zealand may be required for customer engagements.
Note: This role requires eligibility for Australian or New Zealand Government clearance (citizenship required).
