This is one of those rare roles that actually lives up to the hype.

I’m working closely with a niche eCommerce focused agency that plays in the deep end. 

Think 8 and 9 figure brands, proper budgets, and real commercial responsibility. 

The kind of environment where what you do actually matters and where average performance marketing doesn’t last long.

And right now? The priority hire is a Senior Performance Marketer. Someone who is experienced, commercially sharp, and comfortable being accountable for outcomes.

At the same time, we’re also building the next layer of the team. So if you’re a strong mid-level Performance Marketer or Growth Performance Marketer with solid DTC and eCommerce experience and you’re hungry for more responsibility, more exposure, and more growth, you are very much on the radar.

What about the team? 

This team has zero interest in surface-level performance marketing.

They care about contribution margin. They care about LTV:CAC. They care about aMER, forecasting, unit economics, and how spend actually flows through a business. Paid media here isn’t about babysitting platforms. It’s about making smart commercial decisions and standing behind them.

In this role, you’ll work across Meta and Google, owning eCommerce accounts end to end. You’ll get properly stuck into performance, pressure-test assumptions, spot problems early, and help brands scale in a way that makes financial sense. You’ll work closely with creative and ad ops and be trusted to think, challenge, and decide, not just follow instructions.

Depending on where you’re at, you might be:

🙌 Running high-spend accounts with real autonomy and accountability

🙌 Designing campaign structures that reflect both data and economics

🙌 Forecasting spend and outcomes with intent, not guesswork

🙌 Explaining performance in a way founders actually respect

🙌 Sharpening your commercial instincts alongside your technical skillset

🙌 Owning results instead of hiding behind dashboards and attribution models

This is not a slow, safe, coasty environment. It’s a place for people who want to be excellent at what they do and are willing to back themselves.

There’s structured onboarding, constant learning, weekly strategy sessions, and real exposure to how elite eCommerce businesses operate at scale. Progression is fast if you earn it. Capability and impact matter more than time served.

And yes, the lifestyle side absolutely stacks up.

The team is fully remote, globally distributed, and built on trust. You’ll work with smart, driven people who give a damn, and once a year, everyone gets together somewhere genuinely epic for a global retreat. The most recent one was Cape Town.

Something else that’s also really good to know here is that compensation matches the calibre of each hire they make. There are no fixed salary bands. Indicative range sits around $100,000 to $170,000+, depending on experience, commercial depth, and the level you step in at. Final details are worked through during the interview process.

This is not for everyone. And that’s intentional.
