Video producer and social media manager

Looking for a video producer/editor to help me turn my daily Twitch livestreams into daily YouTube + short-form content. 3 mjnth probation with long term potential.

Context: I’ll be backpacking South America, livestreaming travel + fitness content (training, adventures, chaos, wins, setbacks the full journey). Your job is to turn those streams into content people can’t stop watching, then continuously improve the format using performance data.

The role (daily):

• Edit 1 YouTube video from the stream (tight pacing, strong hook, clean story)

• Clip 5 engaging shorts (Shorts / Reels / TikTok style with captions)

• Create thumbnails + titles + descriptions (CTR-focused)

• Upload + publish to my channels and maintain consistent posting

Performance + iteration (important):

• Review retention graphs, CTR, AVD, watch time, and hook drop-off

• Run small weekly experiments (hooks, structure, length, thumbnail styles)

• Use data + creative instincts to improve content week over week

Required experience:

• Proven work editing for creators/streamers (not corporate edits)

• Portfolio showing high-retention long-form YouTube + short-form clips that perform

• Experience producing content at daily frequency (or equivalent high-output workflow)

• Comfortable owning the full pipeline: edit → thumbnail → upload → publish

• Strong communication + reliability (this is a daily operation)

Ideal skills (bonus):

• Strong storytelling instincts (you can find the “episode” inside a long stream)

• Fast, clean captioning + sound design + punchy pacing

• Understanding of YouTube packaging (hooks, titles, thumbnails, SEO basics)

• Comfort with travel content + fitness content (you know what audiences click on)

Timezone + workflow:

• I’ll be moving across multiple time zones while traveling.

• You must be comfortable working asynchronously and maintaining daily output regardless of where I am.
