About Beam
Beam is a software platform and marketplace that helps businesses design, sell and deliver solar, battery and electrification projects across Australia. We sit at the intersection of energy, software and data — making it easier for installers, developers and energy businesses to deploy distributed energy systems at scale. We’re a small, fast-growing team of five, based in NSW and working remotely, with strong momentum and ambitious growth plans.
We’re now looking for a Head of Growth & Digital Marketing to take ownership of our digital engine — from HubSpot and website conversion through to B2B demand generation, analytics and brand execution.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and influence, working closely with the software, sales and delivery teams to drive measurable growth.
What you’ll be responsible for:Growth systems & automation
- Own and operate HubSpot across Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Website, Forms, Surveys and Reporting
- Design and automate lead capture, nurturing, scoring and lifecycle workflows
- Ensure clean CRM structure, reporting, attribution and data hygiene
Website, SEO & conversion
- Optimise beam.solar for SEO, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and clear value messaging
- Improve landing pages, forms, CTAs and content pathways
- Track and continuously improve conversion from visit → lead → opportunity
B2B digital marketing & advertising
- Develop and execute a B2B digital marketing and paid advertising strategy
- Allocate and manage budget across channels (e.g. search, LinkedIn, retargeting)
- Track CAC, ROI and pipeline contribution — not just clicks and impressions
Brand refresh implementation
- Implement a new brand and collateral (provided by a third party) across:
- Website
- Proposals and sales materials
- Reports, dashboards and customer touchpoints
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and customer-facing assets
Content & thought leadership
- Help the team turn expertise into regular blog posts and insights
- Edit, structure and publish content from internal subject-matter experts
- Build a sustainable content cadence aligned with SEO and sales needs
Product & analytics integration
- Integrate Beam’s platform with HubSpot for sales, marketing and surveys
- Implement and manage product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude or alternatives)
- Use data to inform messaging, funnel optimisation and product-led growth
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in B2B digital marketing, growth or revenue operations
- Hands-on HubSpot expertise (marketing + CRM + automation)
- Solid understanding of SEO, CRO and paid digital channels
- Comfortable owning strategy and execution
- Data-driven mindset — you care about pipeline, not vanity metrics
- Clear communicator who can work with founders, sales and technical teams
- Experience in, energy, climate tech or complex B2B products is a big plus, but not essential.
- Salary of $80-110k + Super (FTE)
