AUSTRALO is growing its team. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead marketing across several EU-funded Deep Tech projects, someone with a strong marketing background, a real passion for science communication, and a talent for turning complex technology into compelling narratives.
You will design, run, and evaluate integrated campaigns that amplify the impact of research and innovation, working closely with the Project Manager and Multimedia Designer assigned to each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness and lead generation for EU-funded projects, primarily under Horizon Europe
- Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns across email, social media, newsletters, and press outreach
- Research target audiences, emerging trends, and growth opportunities
- Work with the team on lead-generation and conversion initiatives
- Produce high-quality marketing assets: presentations, flyers, whitepapers, and case studies
- Manage project websites and social media channels, keeping content current, engaging, and on-message
- Track performance, analyse key metrics, and deliver regular campaign reports with actionable insights
- Coordinate with consortium partners and external suppliers to execute and optimise campaigns
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a hands-on marketing role
- 3+ years working on EU-funded projects, ideally Horizon Europe
- The ability to manage your own workload independently and present with confidence
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency with design tools such as Canva or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgement under deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
Preferred Skills
- Established relationships with press and media outlets
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, or analytics tools
- A background or strong interest in Deep Tech
- Another European language (Spanish, French, German, or Italian)
Two ways to join us
- Employment contract for residents of Estonia: €35,000–41,000 gross per year
- Full-remote freelance contract for residents of Europe: €200–240 per day (approx. €46,000–55,000 per year at full-time capacity)
