Role Description The Director, Partnership Engagement is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and expanding strategic partnerships that drive adoption of ASTERRA’s solutions across key markets. This role oversees the identification, development, and management of partners such as utilities, government agencies, integrators, and technology collaborators, ensuring mutual value and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging prospective and existing partners, leading negotiations, developing joint go-to-market plans, and coordinating with internal sales, product, marketing, and operations teams to support successful implementation. The Director monitors partner performance, manages executive-level relationships, and provides regular reporting on pipeline, revenue impact, and strategic opportunities. This position also contributes to market insights, helps refine partnership strategy, and represents ASTERRA at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to build trust, present complex concepts clearly, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in strategic partnerships, with a track record of creating, growing, and managing partner ecosystems and joint business plans.
  • Proficiency in account management, including relationship stewardship, performance monitoring, and contract and renewal oversight.
  • Strategic planning capabilities, such as market analysis, opportunity assessment, and development of long-term partnership strategies.
  • Sales-related skills, including consultative selling, pipeline management, and negotiation to support revenue and growth objectives.
  • Background in infrastructure, water utilities, environmental services, geospatial technologies, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
