Kirta Academy is an educational organisation dedicated to translating multidimensional medicine into grounded, teachable systems. Through our training pathways, memberships, workshops and practitioner programmes, we teach herbal medicine, zoopharmacognosy, seasonal physiology, energetic medicine, shamanic practice and embodied approaches to healing.

We are seeking a highly organised and creative Content Manager to help transform and create our training and educational content into engaging social media, email and marketing materials.

This is not a traditional social media manager role. We are looking for someone who can listen to educational content, identify key teaching points, and repurpose them into valuable, audience-focused content while maintaining the integrity and depth of the original teaching.

The Role

You will work closely with the founder to extract, organise, repurpose and create content from both existing educational materials and academy subject matter. This includes developing original social media content inspired by herbs, animals, seasonal themes, holistic health concepts and topics taught within the academy, as well as working from existing online materials including:

• Live trainings
• Fireside Chats
• Workshops
• Zoom recordings
• Student successes and testimonials
• Existing written content

Your role will be to turn one piece of long-form content into multiple forms of usable content that can be scheduled and distributed across our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content for Instagram and Facebook
• Edit and produce short-form video content and reels
• Develop carousel posts and educational graphics
• Write captions that reflect the academy's voice and values
• Repurpose webinars and training sessions into multiple content assets
• Support content planning around launches, seasonal themes and academy events
• Organise media assets and content libraries
• Assist in generating ideas for email content from existing educational materials
• Maintain consistency across all academy brands and programmes

Who We're Looking ForYou are someone who:

• Loves turning complex educational material into accessible content
• Has strong social media and content creation experience
• Is highly organised and able to work independently
• Has excellent written English
• Understands how to create engaging educational content without resorting to gimmicks or clickbait
• Can manage deadlines and content calendars effectively
• Is comfortable working from existing recordings and materials

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting educators, trainers, coaches, practitioners or membership businesses
• Canva proficiency
• Video editing experience
• Kajabi experience
• Access to and proficiency with your own social media scheduling software
• Interest in herbal medicine, holistic health, education, animals or personal development

• Multiple reels
• Educational carousel posts
• Story content

• Email concepts

while requiring minimal additional input from the founder.

Hours & Working Arrangement

• Flexible freelance position
• Remote working
• Approximately 5–15 hours per week initially
• Opportunity to grow alongside the academy
