About Always On Energy

Always On Energy is a $23M+ whole-home energy efficiency company serving NYC's five boroughs, Long Island, and soon expanding into the broader tri-state area. AOE is not simply an HVAC contractor; it is the only company a homeowner needs to call for a complete energy transformation — heat pump installation, insulation, air sealing, hot water heater upgrades, and electrical panel work, all delivered by one team under one roof. We are doing 20+ installs per week and growing fast.

THE ROLE - WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Meta Ads Manager - full campaign ownership including strategy, audience building, creative testing, budget management, automated rules, and weekly performance reporting. Current weekly spend: $6,000, with plans to scale as performance warrants.

This is a hands-on performance marketing role for someone who lives inside Meta Ads Manager, understands how to make creative that converts for a local home services audience, and uses AI tools as a natural, daily part of their workflow. You will be the primary driver of our Meta lead generation - our target is 100 qualified leads per week from Meta alone at a CPL under $200.

You will be responsible for producing 2-3 new short-form creative assets per week (Reels, static ads, carousels). You will work with raw footage from our field crews and turn it into polished, on-brand content that drives leads and builds neighborhood-level social proof. Speed, quality, and consistency are the standard.

Creative strategy - developing and testing hooks, offers, and messaging angles specific to our unique services, rebate program assistance (ConEd, PSEG, EmPower), and service areas. Our best-performing creative leads with rebate dollar amounts, whole-home before/after transformations, and urgency around program deadlines.

Meta automation setup - configure Dynamic Creative, Advantage+ Audience testing, and automated budget and performance rules inside Meta Ads Manager from day one.

Performance reporting - weekly CPL, ROAS, lead volume, and creative performance reporting with clear recommendations. We use Housecall Pro for lead pipeline tracking.

YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF:

  • You have 2+ years running Meta campaigns for local service businesses, home services, or contractors. You understand homeowner psychology, local geo-targeting, and urgency-driven offer messaging.
  • You can show us Meta results - not just activity. We want to see CPL, lead volume, ROAS, and what specifically you did to improve them.
  • You use AI tools daily. Opus Clip, CapCut, Canva AI, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent — these are standard tools in your workflow, not experiments.
  • You can produce short-form video content independently. You don't need a production crew. You can take 30 seconds of raw job-site footage and turn it into a Reel that stops a scroll.
  • You are comfortable with urgency-based, deadline-driven campaigns. Our PSEG rebate program expires December 31, 2026 - this becomes the primary creative hook from August onward and requires sharp, escalating urgency messaging.
  • NYC / tri-state market familiarity is a strong plus. Understanding the boroughs, Long Island homeowner demographics, and the Con Ed / PSEG rebate programs will accelerate your ramp.

WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE

  • Brand guidelines, existing creative assets, and access to raw job-site footage from our field crews every week
  • Clear campaign goals and KPI targets (100 leads/week from Meta at under $200 CPL)
  • Direct access to Thomas Smith (VP Marketing) for fast approvals and creative feedback
  • AI content tooling budget (~$350/month) covering Opus Clip, CapCut Pro, Canva Pro, and similar
  • Housecall Pro access for lead attribution and pipeline tracking

DELIVERABLES — WEEKLY

  • 2-3 new creative assets (Reels, static, or carousel) tested against current controls
  • Weekly performance report: spend, CPL, leads generated, top and bottom performing creative
  • Audience and budget optimization recommendations based on weekly data
  • At least one new creative concept tested per week against existing controls

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS

Type: Freelance / Contract

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Pay range: $35-$60/hour depending on experience and demonstrated Meta performance results

Monthly equivalent: approximately $3,000-$6,000/month

Timeline: Looking to onboard within 2-3 weeks

Location: Remote - NYC / tri-state area familiarity preferred but not required
