Marketing Account Manager
Job Description
Posted on: August 19, 2025
Alora is a nonprofit-focused marketing agency built to disrupt the “stuffy and safe” approaches nonprofits are used to. We believe nonprofits deserve marketing that’s bold, fun, and results-driven—just like the missions they serve. Our work helps organizations raise more money, engage donors in meaningful ways, and stand out in a noisy world.
At Alora, culture matters as much as the work. We’re a team that takes results seriously but keep a work life balance. We value curiosity, initiative, and genuine collaboration. While we have defined business hours (Monday through Thursday, 9–5 ET), we believe in balance, Fridays are optional for team members, giving everyone space to rest, create, or catch up as needed.
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Account Manager to serve as the glue between our clients, our strategists, and our execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, can juggle multiple marketing tasks, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
You’ll be responsible for onboarding new clients, ensuring their accounts are set up for success, and supporting our Lead Strategist with marketing plan execution. You’ll also assist with HubSpot and lead pipeline management, while occasionally serving as an assistant to the CEO for special projects.
Responsibilities
- Client Onboarding & Management
- Lead onboarding for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into Alora’s systems.
- Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day client communication.
- Keep projects on track, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and expectations.
- Marketing Execution Support
- Assist the Lead Strategist with implementing marketing plans.
- Coordinate assets (email, social, content) across channels.
- Help monitor campaign performance and suggest optimizations.
- HubSpot & Lead Pipeline Management
- Set up and manage client accounts in HubSpot.
- Support CRM pipeline processes, workflows, and reporting.
- Track leads and support client growth strategies.
- CEO & Internal Support
- Provide organizational and marketing support to the CEO as needed.
- Jump in on special projects, research, and admin tasks.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of marketing experience (agency or nonprofit experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (social, email, content, CRM).
- Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM/marketing automation tool.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, collaborative team environment.
Who You Are
- A self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do—you anticipate needs.
- A problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.
- A relationship-builder who knows how to keep clients confident and happy.
- A team player who is just as comfortable supporting the CEO as you are managing client projects.
- A culture fit—laid back, approachable, but deeply committed to producing excellent work.
Why Join Alora?
- Four-day workweek structure (Fridays optional).
- Remote flexibility with a collaborative, supportive team culture.
- The chance to work on meaningful projects that help nonprofits thrive.
- Growth opportunities as our agency scales quickly.
- A workplace where fun, creativity, and strategy intersect.
Location: Remote
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–5 PM ET (Friday optional)
Experience: 3–4 years in marketing (required)
Portfolio/References: A portfolio and references will be required during the interview process
Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year
