Company Description The African Business Chamber (AfBC) is a global UK-based organization dedicated to representing the interests of African businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals. As the voice of the African global business community, AfBC champions trade, investment, diaspora collaboration, and economic relations with African nations. The organization actively supports its members through events, campaigns, and initiatives that empower growth, improve productivity, and create new business opportunities. Through its work, AfBC helps showcase African products and solutions while addressing the needs of the African business community. Role Description This is a volunteer remote role at the African Business Chamber (AfBC). Volunteers will assist in organizing and managing events, supporting member engagement, and contributing to campaigns and activities that promote trade and investment opportunities. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating communications, conducting research, drafting reports or content, and collaborating with other team members to achieve AfBC goals. Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including writing, editing, and public speaking
• Proficiency in event planning, project coordination, and teamwork
• Research and analytical skills to contribute to reports and initiatives
• Familiarity with marketing, social media, or public relations is an advantage
• Passion for supporting African businesses and fostering global economic relations
• Adaptability to work remotely and effectively in diverse, multicultural environments
• Previous experience in nonprofit or advocacy work is beneficial
