Job Description
A global marketing and retail-experience agency is seeking a Digital Merchandising & Marketing Consultant to support our U.S. consultancy team on a key global technology client. This partner-facing role works directly with distributors, retail partners, and the client’s marketing teams to strengthen brand visibility, optimize digital experiences, and drive execution of integrated marketing plans.
- Remote role for 6 months for now, possible extension upon review
- $25/hr - weekly pay
- Working EST Timezone
- 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident advising partners. This is not a creative role—it's a consultative, relationship-driven position focused on insights, execution management, and marketing performance across partner channels.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner & Client Consulting
- Serve as a trusted advisor to distributors and retail partners on behalf of Microsoft.
- Conduct consulting calls to assess partner needs, review marketing plans, and support campaign execution across digital and in-store environments.
- Provide proactive insights (e.g., “I noticed this placement opportunity—here’s how you can improve visibility”).
- Support partners with standardized marketing plans, including KPI development and tracking.
- Collaborate with regional partners on campaign planning, product launches, and promotions aligned with global strategies.
Digital Merchandising & Online Content
- Analyze partner websites, evaluate customer journeys, and recommend improvements to landing pages, brand visibility, and conversion paths.
- Lead marketing asset management—evaluate content, ensure brand compliance, and coordinate alignment with Microsoft’s go-to-market standards.
- Work with client agencies to source assets and ensure accurate deployment across distributor and retailer websites.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate projects between the client, partners, and internal teams.
- Monitor execution of marketing activities across digital and physical retail channels, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct in-store audits (virtual or on-site) and provide actionable recommendations to improve merchandising quality.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly Certified Master Trainer webinars to support distributor engagement and product knowledge.
Insights, Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze SKU performance, assortment, online placement, and promotional activity.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to the client based on partner performance and market opportunities.
- Track campaign KPIs, performance metrics, and execution status.
- Manage shifting priorities based on partner and client needs.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, merchandising, partner management, or customer success.
- Background in communications, marketing operations, customer service, or digital channel support.
- Understanding of integrated marketing plans (email, website updates, retail installs; minimal social).
- Strong analytical mindset—comfortable reviewing data, SKUs, and digital merchandising quality.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Consulting mindset; able to proactively identify opportunities and guide partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Preferred experience in tech, AI, distribution, retail, or events.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
