CRM Manager | Ecommerce & DTC | German-speaking
Remote in Germany | One week per month in Vienna
€60,000–€70,000
What if you could take ownership of CRM across six consumer brands, with the freedom to build the capability as the business grows?
Acquire is the exclusive search partner to a rapidly growing European DTC business. Its ecommerce operation currently generates approximately €9 million, with plans to reach €20 million over the next two to three years.
CRM will play a central role in that growth. The foundations are in place, including Klaviyo and a migration from Magento to commercetools, but there is significant scope to improve how the business acquires, retains and develops its customers.
The role
This is a hands-on position combining strategic ownership with practical execution. You will:
- Build and optimise automated customer journeys
- Develop customer segmentation and personalisation
- Improve first-to-second purchase conversion
- Increase retention, repeat purchase and reactivation
- Manage email campaign planning and delivery
- Use customer and commercial data to identify opportunities
- Support the introduction of a new loyalty programme
- Measure CRM revenue and commercial performance
- Work across multiple brands, markets and ecommerce teams
You will have the freedom to shape the CRM roadmap while remaining close enough to the detail to build campaigns, automations and segments yourself.
About you
You will ideally bring:
- Native or near-native German and professional English
- Three to five years of meaningful CRM experience
- Experience within ecommerce, DTC or a consumer-led digital business
- Hands-on experience building lifecycle campaigns, automations and segments
- A strong understanding of retention, repeat purchase and customer lifetime value
- The ability to connect CRM activity with revenue and wider commercial performance
- Confidence working directly within a CRM platform
Klaviyo experience would be particularly useful, although comparable platform experience will be considered. Subscription, loyalty or pet-sector experience would be helpful but is not essential.
This will suit someone who wants more than responsibility for campaign delivery. As the business grows, the intention is to build a broader CRM function around this role, creating a genuine opportunity to progress into team leadership.
You can be based remotely in Germany, provided you can spend one working week per month at the company’s Vienna office
