PAID SOCIAL CREATIVE LEADERSHIP – GLOBAL HIGH-GROWTH CONSUMER BRAND

A profitable, founder-led global ecommerce group is hiring a Head of Performance Creative to lead and scale its in-house creative engine across multiple international brands.

Operating at significant revenue scale across multiple territories, this business combines commercial rigour with creative ambition. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, systems and execution, building a performance-led creative function that can deliver both volume and quality at speed.

What They Need

  • Someone who has built and scaled in-house performance marketing creative teams - hiring, onboarding, mentoring and holding designers/creative strategists accountable to revenue-driving KPIs in a high-output D2C environment
  • A commercially sharp creative leader who understands that great work must translate into measurable impact (CTR, CVR, CPA, revenue), and who is comfortable operating within OKRs and data dashboards rather than subjective brand metrics alone
  • A hands-on operator who still leads by example - confident jumping into Adobe to concept, design or refine assets when needed, and credible because they remain close to evolving tools, formats and platforms
  • A systems thinker who can document and optimise workflows, creative testing frameworks, research libraries and SOPs, increasing speed, creative diversity and performance without compromising quality
  • Someone experienced in physical product D2C ecosystems, ideally with repeat-purchase mechanics, retention journeys and multi-channel customer flows
  • A global collaborator comfortable working across time zones, who can bring their knowledge of consumer facing health/wellness brands to this fast-scaling business

What You’re Great At

  • Developing scalable performance creative strategy for paid social (Meta-heavy environments with significant ad testing volume)
  • Turning market research, competitor analysis and customer insight into high-converting concepts, hooks and creative frameworks
  • Balancing speed and experimentation with structure - building repeatable systems that allow teams to produce at scale
  • Leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Sora etc.) both operationally and generatively to enhance output and accelerate testing
  • Managing and evolving high-performing creative teams through structured feedback, performance reviews and clear KPI alignment
  • Operating comfortably in fast-moving, founder-led environments where priorities shift but accountability remains high
