Who we are
We’re a dynamic and rapidly expanding Corporate Services Group, led by our passionate founder and CEO. With a thriving customer base of over 500,000 and consistent growth of 20% year-on-year, we're shaking up the business services space. From Company Formation and Legal Support to Virtual Offices, Call Answering, and Live Chat solutions, we provide everything businesses need to start, grow, and succeed. Profitable, innovative, and customer-obsessed, we’re on a mission to redefine how modern businesses are supported—and we’re looking for driven individuals to grow with us.
Job Summary
Join us as a Freelance Content Writer and help thousands of entrepreneurs take their first confident steps toward starting and growing their businesses. As the UK’s largest and most trusted company formation agent, we publish transparent, practical blog content that simplifies the startup journey and supports long-term small business success. Working with our SEO Content Specialist, you'll craft and optimise long-form articles to improve clarity, engagement, and search visibility. You’re a strategic, curious writer who understands both human readers and search engines. You're comfortable using AI tools to support your process, but your editorial standards and attention to detail define the final product.
🎯 What You’ll do
- Research, write, and deliver compelling long-form blog content – from topic ideation to final edits. You'll produce informative, high-quality articles that explain key business concepts, demystify the company formation process, and support new entrepreneurs at every stage.
- Optimise and refresh existing blog content for SEO performance, accuracy, structure, formatting, and tone of voice to meet modern audience needs and search intent.
- Apply SEO best practices across on-page elements, headings, keyword targeting, internal linking, and content structuring in line with direction from our SEO Content Specialist.
- Use generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, or others) as part of your ideation or drafting process while applying strong editorial judgment and voice to keep content trustworthy, accurate, and human-led.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in organic search, content marketing, and SEO, adapting your approach as best practices evolve.
- Collaborate asynchronously with our Content and SEO team using tools like Microsoft Teams and Trello.
- Deliver articles supporting readers and search discoverability through smart formatting and clear structuring.
✨ About the content you'll create:
- Our goal is to inform and inspire. Every piece you write should be:
- Audience-first: Answering real founder questions and meeting readers with empathy and authority.
- Transparent: Simplifying complex or bureaucratic processes without overselling or sugar-coating.
- Responsible: Encouraging ethical, sustainable, and socially conscious entrepreneurship.
- Empowering: Helping entrepreneurs build with confidence, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and a growth mindset.
- You'll help us achieve this through a "format-first" approach, delivering articles that are readable, shareable, and organised for scanning and search.
📚 What You Bring to the Table
- 2–5 years of experience writing professional content, ideally within B2B, SaaS, financial services, legal/business services, or related sectors.
- Exceptional long-form writing skills with a portfolio of content that shows clarity of thought, depth of research, and SEO fluency.
- A strong understanding of on-page SEO, including how to implement keywords naturally, structure content to meet search intent, and ensure technical accuracy.
- Adept at incorporating and refining AI-generated content. You treat generative AI as your co-pilot, not your replacement, ensuring everything is elevated by your editorial judgment.
- A proactive, independent work style. You are organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Strong written English, with a keen eye for grammar, tone, storytelling, and formatting.
- Must be available to collaborate across a minimum of 4 working days each week
- Approximately 15-18 hours of work are required per week.
- Capacity to produce an average of 2–3 long-form articles per week (typically 1,000-2,000+ words each), depending on complexity and scope.
Remuneration and Benefits
- 25 days annual leave, plus 8 public/bank holidays
- Private Medical, Dental, and Optical Insurance for you and your family
- Death in Service cover (4x annual salary)
- Employee Assistance Program
- 14 weeks maternity leave pay, 2 weeks paternity leave pay
- 2 paid Volunteering Days per year with our charity partner.
- Annual cost-of-living salary increase
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Dog-friendly office
- Indoor bicycle storage, changing, and shower facility
- Free soft drinks and bean-to-cup coffee all day
- Free Monday and Wednesday lunches
- Free fresh fruit - daily
