Unveiling the Top Agencies That Ended 2024 with a Bang!

The run-up to Christmas is an exciting yet peculiar time in the advertising world. While many are busy with celebrations, several agencies were focused on securing new clients. Here’s a look at the agencies that sprinted into the holiday season with impressive client acquisitions, marking them as the new business winners of 2025.

Creative Agencies

Bronze – Havas Host

Havas Host celebrated a significant win in December by being appointed to lead the social and creative strategy for Chinese automaker Geely. Their task includes crafting a new brand campaign aimed at inspiring consumers to ‘See The World In Full’. Dentsu will handle public relations and digital consumer experiences for Geely in Australia.

“Havas and Dentsu presented ideas that resonated with our brand values,” said Li Lei, head of Geely Auto Australia.

Silver – Bastion

Bastion had a memorable December, acquiring the consolidated creative accounts for Kellanova’s Breakfast and Wholesome Snack brands, alongside launching a new media division. Ben O’Brien from Kellanova expressed excitement about deepening their partnership with Bastion, marking a significant milestone for the brand.

“We want to offer a more integrated offering with one door to go through,” stated Bastion CEO Cheuk Chiang.

Gold – TBWA

TBWA scored two major wins in December, being appointed as the integrated creative agency for Kraft Heinz and Goodman Fielder’s Helga’s brand. Kraft Heinz’s CMO praised TBWA’s previous work and their disruptive approach to creativity.

“We can’t wait to get started,” said Paul Reardon, chief creative officer at TBWA.

Media Agencies

Bronze – We Are Social

We Are Social secured eBay’s social and influencer marketing account, focusing on platforms like Instagram and TikTok to enhance consumer engagement. They aim to strengthen eBay's social presence and align with its brand platform.

“Partnering with We Are Social marks an exciting new chapter for eBay Australia,” said Zannie Abbott, head of campaigns and comms.

Silver – Initiative

Initiative clinched the global media account for Volvo, taking over from Mindshare. This move reflects Volvo's commitment to evaluating their agency model for optimal efficiency.

Gold – OMG

Omnicom Media Group ended 2024 on a high note, winning Reckitt Benckiser’s media account, previously held by Publicis’ Zenith. The marketing director of Reckitt expressed enthusiasm about new opportunities the partnership could bring.

“We’re excited by the new partnerships and opportunities for growth,” Florence Paoli, marketing director of Reckitt Hygiene, confirmed.
