Tragic Loss: Remembering Lisa Ronson, Respected CMO of Medibank

A Heartbreaking Incident

Tributes have poured in for Lisa Ronson, a prominent figure in the marketing world, who tragically passed away in a quad bike accident in regional Victoria over the weekend.

The Accident

Ronson, the chief marketing officer at Medibank, lost control of her All Terrain Vehicle while riding on a private property near Daylesford on Saturday evening. Emergency services were promptly called, but unfortunately, she could not be saved.

Investigations Underway

WorkSafe is currently investigating the incident, and the police will prepare a report for the coroner.

A Respected Leader

At the age of 52, Ronson had only recently taken on the role of chief marketing officer at Medibank in July. She was highly regarded within the Australian marketing industry, and her influence extended beyond her position at Medibank. Ronson also served as an adjunct professor at Deakin University and was a board member of Wheelchair Rugby Australia.

Medibank's CEO, David Koczkar, expressed the deep sorrow felt by the organization, stating, "We are devastated by the news of Lisa's passing. Lisa was a brilliant, loved, and much respected member of our team at Medibank. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this very difficult time."
