Reederei Nord Breaks Decade-Long Hiatus with Major Bulker Newbuilding Deal

Germany’s Reederei Nord is making a bold entry into the large bulk carrier segment, placing its first newbuilding order in over a decade. The Hamburg-based shipping company has contracted Wuhu Shipyard in China to build up to four 211,000-dwt newcastlemaxes.
