Carolyn McCann, Westpac's acting chief executive for consumer, highlighted Klein's data-driven leadership and her ability to drive growth through innovative brand and marketing strategies. Klein's responsibilities will encompass overseeing marketing initiatives for Westpac and its subsidiaries, including St.George, Bank of Melbourne, and BankSA.
Klein's return to Australia two years ago from Meta, where she served as Vice President of Global Business and Product Marketing, underscores her global expertise and strategic vision. Her appointment is seen as a move to bolster Westpac's growth ambitions and reinforce its 208-year legacy in the banking sector.
