Meet Cristiano Fiorio: The New Visionary Behind Alfa Romeo's Global Marketing Strategy

Cristiano Fiorio Takes the Helm at Alfa Romeo
Cristiano Fiorio has been appointed as the Head of Alfa Romeo Global Marketing and Communication, reporting directly to Santo Ficili, the CEO of the Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands.

Born in Turin in 1972, Cristiano is married with two children. He joined Alfa Romeo in 2021 as the head of the Formula 1 project, where he was tasked with maximizing returns on this strategic global marketing initiative. Additionally, he has been instrumental in leading the 33 Stradale project, marking the brand's return to custom-built cars after over 50 years.
Since joining the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group in 2013, Cristiano has taken on significant strategic roles, including:
- Head of Brand Marketing Communication for EMEA.
- Head of Advertising, Digital, Events, Sponsorships, and Trade Fairs for all FCA brands.
- Leading the team responsible for launching the New 500 BEV since November 2019.
Before his time with FCA, Cristiano's career involved major events and tourism, specializing in sports and marketing communications. He is also a Board Member of Basicnet, overseeing brands like Superga and Kappa.
Cristiano Fiorio succeeds Eligio Catarinella, who has been appointed as the Head of Stellantis Sales and Marketing for the Enlarged Europe region, reporting to Jean-Philippe Imparato, COO of Enlarged Europe.
