Diljit Dosanjh Speaks Out on Black Marketing of Concert Tickets: A Funny Encounter in Indore
Diljit Dosanjh Addresses Ticket Black Marketing
During his recent concert in Indore, Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh tackled the ongoing issue of black marketing for concert tickets. He expressed his frustration with accusations directed at him regarding inflated ticket prices, stating, "It's not my fault that the tickets are getting sold in black. If you buy a ticket for Rs 10 and sell it for Rs 100, then what's the fault of the artist?"
A Poetic Response
Diljit recited a poem by Rahat Indori, emphasizing that the blame should not lie solely with him. He humorously remarked, "Do one thing, put the blame on me. So, people from the media, blame me as much as you want. I don't have any fear of being defamed. I don't have any tension." He added that black marketing has been a longstanding issue in India, evolving with changing times.
A Hilarious Moment with Fans
In a light-hearted moment, Diljit shared a hilarious clip on his Instagram Stories showing fans climbing onto the roof of a truck to catch a glimpse of him at the concert. He captioned the video, "Indore. Fan pit (wrong emoji) Truck pit (correct emoji)." The video featured the upbeat track Kinni Kinni playing in the background.
Concert Tour Highlights
This isnât the first instance of fans going to great lengths to see him perform. At his concert in Jaipur, students watched from their PG accommodation balconies, while in Ahmedabad, some fans enjoyed the show from a neighboring hotel balcony. Diljit's Dil-Luminati Tour will conclude in Guwahati on December 29 after stops in Chandigarh.
