This project is a 'match made in heaven' for someone seeking an exciting opportunity to engage their talents and contribute to positive impact in the world.

Our websites are live, our fundraising portal is ready, we have the theme for the campaign and we are bringing Mary Jack to Australia and supporter events are booked for International Women's Day and Climate Action Week Sydney

Now, we need a social media specialist to take the reins and drive the campaign home!

We need a Social Media Practitioner to start immediately with a project timeline of 4 weeks. The goal is to be 'high-fiving' at the end with an amazing social media campaign that tells our story and engages our supporters.

Background

The Agency of Women (agencyofwomen.org) is a social purpose platform providing people of talent the opportunity to leverage their superpowers into projects that empower the social and change-leadership capacities of under-served women.

Our pilot project is based in Vanuatu, where we are supporting Elder and grassroots women's advocate, Mary Jack, to build their nation's first grassroots women's representative body: Mitingar Women and Girls Association (mitingar.org).

The Logic Driving the Agency of Women?

To increase our collective capacity for peace and sustainability, we need to increase our individual capacity for cooperation and collaboration. To increase this (and any) capacity, we need to exercise it. The Agency of Women is designed to serve as a 'collaboration gym' where people, planet, and professionals all benefit through engagement in collaborative impact projects together.

The Mission: Moving Forward

We have partnered with the Global Development Group, providing Mitingar with tax-deductible donation services so that we can raise the funds Mary and the women need to build their national organisation for uplifting the women of Vanuatu.

Our next step is to launch a fundraising campaign to fund the next three years of Mitingar's organisational infrastructure development. We have the platforms; we just need help to amplify our narrative through a targeted social media campaign, ready for the fundraising to begin, so that people immediately understand the raw realities for the women on the ground.

The model that Mary and the women are developing is being shared with the worlds 2B grassroots and rural women to support them in building their own national representative bodies and connecting together as a single global movement.

Responsibilities Use your Awesome Digital Storyteller / Marketing Genius to develop and run a compelling social media campaign that invites others to join and support. You will help us craft and execute the social media strategy for our "Sprint for Mary" campaign leading up to, and over the other side, of IWD.

Qualification Wish List

All or some of the following including Social Media Campaign Developer / Digital Storyteller expertise plus:

• Advertising / marketing industry experience.
• A passion for leveraging talent into impact that's direct and real
