Founding Partner – Media Startup

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a founding partner to co-create a bold new media venture emerging from WaveVentures Studio, the startup studio within The Futures Hub ecosystem.

This is not a traditional job — it’s a call to build something from the ground up.

We’re launching a signal-first media venture that explores startups, trends, and innovation stories from the Netherlands and beyond. Think essays, interviews, insights — but with clarity, integrity, and edge.

You’ll be part of a small team shaping strategy, content, and growth from day one — with creative independence and backing from an ecosystem of builders and thinkers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Co-define the vision, brand, and editorial direction of the venture
• Create and curate content (your voice matters)
• Identify trends, founders, and ecosystem stories worth telling
• Explore partnerships and distribution channels across Europe
• Contribute to platform growth, monetization ideas, and community engagement

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has strong editorial instincts and content strategy experience (journalism, blogging, newsletters, podcasts — all welcome)
• Is curious about the startup and innovation landscape — especially outside the spotlight
• Feels comfortable navigating ambiguity and co-building from zero
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset and wants to shape something that lasts
• Values autonomy, collaboration, and signal over noise
