Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Event Planning and Marketing working remotely, while communicating daily with team members to help plan, develop, and execute new events for the company as we grow in several phases of our mission. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and service, managing client relationships, and supervising event logistics. The role also includes creating marketing strategies to promote events, handling sales initiatives to attract clients, and ensuring the highest standard of event delivery is maintained. The position will include the building and forming of new client relationships for site hosts for events, sponsorship partners, and the securing of workers for each and every event that we schedule. Much of the job will be networking, adveritsing and promoting our events to the volleyball world to guarantee early success to get us off and rolling. The director will need to work closely with management and other VBAdrenaline staff members in strategizing and unifying content, social media, and existing protocol with the new initiatives. The person must be a self-starter and have years of experience in the volleyball circles and multiple connections.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Event Planning (Camps, Scheduling, Clinics) and Event Management
- Strong skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service
- Proficiency in Sales and marketing experience related to event promotion
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a variety of personnel groups
- Ability to manage a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders effectively
- Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field OR be able to show proficiency in these fields (staffing, budgeting, scheduling software, booking software, proper liability forms, etc)
- Previous experience in a similar event planning or management role is highly desirable
