Valae is a fast-growing AI startup and implementation agency with notable clients such as IKEA. We help teams turn AI into something that actually works in their business, even when data and systems are messy, by doing the practical foundation work and building solutions that stick. A key part of our approach is a process we call Step Zero: getting the knowledge and data foundations right so AI can be implemented reliably and responsibly.
Our leadership team have led AI projects in global companies, are trusted by universities to lecture on AI topics, and have helped over 1,000 businesses impact the P&L through digital initiatives.
We're a small team doing serious work. That means you won't just be sitting in on calls to observe. You'll be in the room, contributing, and expected to deliver.
The Role
We're hiring a Junior Growth Associate to work directly with our Strategy Director on sales, marketing, and commercial operations. This isn't an internship dressed up with a better title. It's a genuine growth role with real responsibility from day one.
You'll help plan and execute outbound campaigns, create marketing content, manage CRM workflows, and contribute to commercial strategy discussions that shape how we go to market. You'll use AI tools daily, not as a novelty, but as a core part of how we work.
Specifically, you will:
- Plan, execute, and iterate on sales and marketing campaigns end-to-end
- Run outbound activity using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools
- Create marketing assets: LinkedIn posts, outreach sequences, one-pagers, and lightweight case studies
- Own growth operations work: research, list building, CRM management, reporting, and workflow experimentation
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, and others) as part of your daily workflow
- Participate in commercial strategy discussions and turn decisions into execution
- Take ownership of a project area that plays to your strengths
What We Expect
We set a high bar, even for junior roles. We'd rather work with someone exceptional for ten hours a week than someone average for forty.
You should have:
- Sharp written and verbal communication. You can write a cold email that gets opened and a follow-up that gets replied to.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and a willingness to experiment with tools you've never touched before.
- The ability to take a goal, break it down, and figure out how to get there without being told each step.
- Comfort working in ambiguity. We're an early-stage company, and things move fast.
- A bias toward action. You'd rather ship something imperfect than wait for permission to start.
Bonus if you have experience with:
- B2B sales or outbound marketing
- CRM tools (Pipedrive, Attio, or similar)
- Content creation for LinkedIn or professional audiences
- Any AI or automation tooling
- Confidence presenting on camera
