This role focuses on elevating the Instagram presence of a well-established dog walking and boarding business based in Montreal. The business has a rich archive of daily dog photos and videos, and is seeking a creative professional to help expand its reach and engagement on Instagram. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, strategic insight, and hands-on expertise to grow the account’s following and maximize the impact of its content. Deliverables

• Develop and implement a tailored Instagram growth strategy to increase followers and engagement.
• Analyze current content and audience insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Advise on content themes, posting schedules, and hashtag strategies to optimize reach.
• Create and schedule posts, stories, and reels as needed to maintain a consistent and engaging presence.
• Monitor analytics and provide regular reports on growth, engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
• Offer recommendations for community engagement and collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing and growing Instagram accounts, preferably for small businesses or pet-related brands.
• Strong understanding of Instagram algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Creative eye for visual storytelling and content curation.
• Proficiency with Instagram analytics and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide actionable marketing advice.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the pet industry or a passion for animals is a plus.
