Freelance Digital Marketing – Conversion Tracking

This role focuses on auditing and optimizing Google Ads conversion tracking for a GoDaddy-hosted website. The specialist will ensure accurate lead tracking for form submissions, thank-you pages, phone calls, and other key actions to support robust reporting and Smart Bidding strategies. The position requires a detail-oriented approach to reviewing and resolving issues across Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, GA4, and Consent Mode configurations, with the goal of delivering reliable data for marketing performance.

Deliverables

• Audit existing Google Ads conversion actions, GTM container, GA4 setup, and Consent Mode configuration
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in lead tracking and reporting
• Implement and test lead tracking for form submissions, thank-you pages, and phone calls via GTM
• Set up Enhanced Conversions and configure Consent Mode v2 as needed
• Conduct thorough testing using GTM Preview, Tag Assistant, and real test conversions
• Provide clear documentation of all changes and ongoing maintenance requirements
  
  

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, and GA4
• Strong understanding of Consent Mode and Enhanced Conversions
• Experience with GoDaddy website integrations and troubleshooting
• Ability to diagnose and resolve tracking discrepancies efficiently
• Familiarity with Smart Bidding and performance reporting best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
