Be aware that all of our positions are completely Remote but our working hours are Central European Time (+/- 2h)

About The Role

Every month, hundreds of people tell us they are interested in a Tomorrow University degree. Too many disappear before they ever speak to anyone. Your job is to improve that.

The marketing team works across three parts of the funnel: create demand, acquire demand, convert demand. Four people own that work between them. You own conversion. 🎯

Your main question is simple: how many prospective students turn into admissions calls or applications? From the moment a lead enters the funnel, you own the journey that helps them take that next step. That includes the messaging, timing, events, nurture, and reactivation.

You will work closely with Sales and Admissions. 🤝 Their feedback from calls should shape what happens earlier in the funnel, and the weekly funnel review should lead to concrete changes in what we send, when we send it, and to whom.

We want someone who sees CRM as more than a set of automated sequences. These are people considering a significant education decision, and the job is to make our communication useful, relevant, and personal at scale, including through thoughtful use of AI. ✨

🚀 What You'll Own

🎯 Turn new leads into sales conversations and applications

  • Own the journey from new lead to booked call or application across email, WhatsApp, events, and product.
  • Build nurture journeys by program, audience, and funnel stage, rather than sending everyone through the same sequence.
  • Test messaging, timing, frequency, and channel mix, and track the impact on lead-to-call and lead-to-application conversion.
  • Run the monthly university newsletter, including planning the content, writing and editing it, coordinating inputs across the university, and tracking performance.

🔄 Reactivate existing leads

  • Build a structured approach to re-engaging people who have previously shown interest in a degree but have not applied or enrolled.
  • Develop and test reactivation campaigns across email, WhatsApp, events, program previews, assessments, and other formats. Track what works by program and audience so future intakes benefit from those learnings.
  • Work with Sales and Admissions on the handover of reactivated leads and report on reactivation performance.

📅 Run lifecycle marketing around events

  • Own communications around webinars, open days, taster sessions, and other prospective-student events, including registration, reminders, no-show follow-up, and post-event nurture.
  • Track how many qualified leads, calls, and applications each event generates and use that data to improve future events.

📊 Understand and improve the funnel

  • Work across the pre-sales funnel: lead to MQL to SQL to booked call to opportunity.
  • Track conversion by stage, program, market, source, and audience. Find where people are dropping out and investigate why.
  • Maintain lead scoring and segmentation in HubSpot. Build reporting that Marketing, Sales, and Admissions can actually use, then turn what you find into changes to messaging, timing, segmentation, or channel.

✍️ Write and test the CRM content

  • Write the lifecycle emails, WhatsApp messages, in-app messages, and reactivation sequences yourself.
  • Turn complex academic information into clear, useful copy for prospective students. Test subject lines, headlines, CTAs, message length, and positioning, and apply the learnings to future campaigns.
  • Create simple assets in Canva or Figma when needed, with support from the creative team for larger pieces.

🤝 Own the handover to Sales

  • Define when a lead is ready for Sales or Admissions, what information should be passed over, and what feedback comes back.
  • Work with both teams on lead quality, response times, and the regular funnel review.
  • Use cohort and conversion data to answer questions about lead quality.

🤖 Help define how we use AI in lifecycle marketing

  • Identify where AI can make lifecycle communication more relevant or efficient.
  • Define the audience context, tone, prompts, and editorial rules, then review and test the output.
  • Make sure AI-supported messaging stays accurate, useful, and consistent with our brand.

✨ What You Bring

  • 7+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth, or marketing operations, ideally in a B2C environment with a long, considered purchase.
  • Hands-on in HubSpot or a comparable platform (Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud). You can build a workflow, debug a sequence, and pull a report without waiting for anyone. You see CRM as a means to more students.
  • A track record in activation and reactivation
  • Exceptional English writing skills and ability to work in an English-speaking team.
  • A strong copywriter with a testing mindset. You can write compelling lifecycle copy, from subject lines and CTAs to full email journeys, and use A/B tests to continuously improve what resonates and converts.
  • Sharp with funnel data. Spreadsheets and BI tools. Given a messy funnel, you find where the loss is and how to fix it.
  • You have worked alongside a sales team and kept that relationship productive.
  • An eye for design and the ability to build a clean asset yourself in Canva or Figma if needed.
  • Ownership, curiosity, and a preference for doing over planning.
  • A belief that education changes lives. 🌍

💜 Nice To Have, Not Required

  • You write German that persuades.
  • Experience in higher education, edtech, or another regulated category.
  • AI-driven personalization in a lifecycle or CRM context.
  • WhatsApp Business API, or messenger marketing under German consent rules.
  • Webinar and event funnels.
  • Lead magnet design experience.
