Role Description

As Editor at Thought Digest Media, I lead the transformation of raw journalism into high-impact, platform-ready content. I work directly with reporters to sharpen key facts, clarify storylines, and ensure every piece hits the mark—fast, clean, and on brand.

We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of Canva, as is consistently available in any combination of 11am, 2pm and 5pm throughout the week.

Key responsibilities:

• Edit and distill complex news reports into sharp, accurate, and engaging short-form content
• Package stories using pre-designed social media templates across Instagram, X, Facebook, and LinkedIn (4:5 aspect ratio).
• Maintain editorial consistency and visual cohesion across all platforms
• Enforce brand tone: direct, factual, and no-spin
• Coordinate with reporters, assign revisions, and manage publishing deadlines
• Track performance metrics and optimize content format accordingly

This role sits at the intersection of journalism and execution—where the story meets the audience.
