We’re hiring a Marketing Lead
Tax Nuggets Academy is growing fast and now needs a dedicated marketing leader to take us from strong organic momentum to a scalable, high-performing growth engine. This is our first senior marketing hire and you’ll shape how we grow for years to come.
You’ll set the strategy, build the systems, and lead the execution that drives awareness, acquisition and retention across our community of accounting professionals.
This is a full-time permanent role for someone based in Australia
What you’ll be doing
At the moment, this role is focused on the following tasks:
Set the direction
- Build our 12–24 month marketing strategy and roadmap.
- Define the foundations: positioning, messaging, funnel design and measurement.
Run integrated marketing programs
- Lead campaigns across digital, content, events, partnerships and community channels.
- Oversee content programs tailored to accountants and firm owners.
- Strengthen our brand and community presence.
Build the engine
- Establish our marketing operations: automation, analytics, attribution and performance tracking.
- Optimise the entire funnel from awareness through to retention.
- Manage agencies and contractors to deliver specialist support.
Grow the function
- Hire and develop a small marketing team as we scale.
- Work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to align marketing with product, courses, partnerships and operations.
Who we’re looking for
A senior generalist marketer who can comfortably move between strategy and hands-on execution. Someone currently operating at Senior Marketing Manager level (or similar) and ready to step into a leadership role.
You’re likely a match if
- You have 7+ years in marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment (Accounting / professional services or startup experience is a bonus.)
- You've built or scaled a marketing function before.
- You understand a wide range of marketing levers and channels — from performance and lifecycle marketing to web and content — and know how they work together to drive scalable growth.
- You are resourceful and pragmatic: you get things done, and when you need extra capability, you bring in and manage the right agencies or contractors.
- You think in systems, take ownership, stay persistent in the face of ambiguity, and sweat the details that drive results.
