Summary:

Working in a project management tool such as Asana, a spreadsheets and data entry tool such as Microsoft Excel, and a web analytics platform such as Google Analytics, the Advertising Associate supports organized advertising activity from initial requests through performance updates. This entry-level role helps keep placement details, audience specifications, and partner communications accurate so advertising efforts can move forward with clear information. The associate sits within the advertising team and works under an advertising team lead while collaborating with marketing colleagues, media partners, and internal requestors. This is a fully remote, work from home position based in Texas, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary. The position offers a practical introduction to advertising operations, media coordination, and reporting support through careful desk-based work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive advertising requests through assigned Asana tasks, email messages, and team updates, then review the requested placements, audience details, timing, and required information.

• Enter confirmed request details into Microsoft Excel trackers and Asana task fields, keeping status information clear for the advertising team.

• Check submitted placement details against approved request information, noting missing audience specifications, destination links, timing details, or partner contacts.

• Organize advertising materials supplied by internal teams and confirm that required files, instructions, and placement information are available before coordination begins.

• Communicate routine questions and updates with media partners, internal marketing colleagues, and requestors using clear, professional written messages.

• Monitor task progress and placement updates, using Google Analytics to review website traffic and engagement indicators connected to advertising activity.

• Prepare concise status summaries that identify completed steps, open items, basic performance observations, and upcoming coordination needs for the advertising team lead.

• Follow up with media partners or internal requestors when information is incomplete, delayed, unclear, or inconsistent with the original request.

• Escalate unresolved placement concerns, significant discrepancies, or changes that affect planned advertising activity to the advertising team lead for direction.

• Maintain complete task notes and orderly tracker entries so colleagues can understand current status, prior communications, and next actions.

• Meet quality expectations through accurate entries, timely turnaround, complete notes, careful follow-up, and consistent use of team procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• No experience required; related experience preferred in advertising support, marketing coordination, media assistance, or an office-based environment.

• Interest in advertising operations, media placements, audience specifications, and performance reporting concepts.

• Familiarity with a project management tool such as Asana, a spreadsheets and data entry tool such as Microsoft Excel, and a web analytics platform such as Google Analytics is preferred.

• Ability to review detailed instructions, compare information carefully, and identify missing or inconsistent request details.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills for respectful coordination with media partners, internal colleagues, and requestors.

• Ability to organize multiple assigned tasks, maintain accurate status notes, and follow established workflows under guidance.

• Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

Perks & Benefits:

• Fully remote work supporting advertising coordination from a dedicated home workspace.

• Structured onboarding and training on Asana, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and team workflows.

• Regular check-ins with the advertising team lead for guidance, feedback, and prioritization support.

• Skill building in advertising operations, media planning, performance measurement, and partner coordination.

• Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), maternity leave, and bonus opportunities.
