In just 3 years, it has generated tens of millions in revenue, processed hundreds of millions of online orders, and helped thousands of restaurants not just survive but thrive. The vision is to perfect the solution for restaurants and then scale it to all local businesses, empowering millions to compete in the digital age.

The team nearly doubled in size last year (now ~200 people) with talent from top SMB tech companies (Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, Stripe, etc.) and plans to scale even faster this year. The company is remote-first and global, with some roles prioritizing in-person collaboration.

About The Role

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Events Marketing Manager to bring the brand to life through high-impact events and activations. This role is all about designing memorable in-person experiences that strengthen the brand, support sales, and connect with the independent restaurant community. From flagship events and intimate dinners to conferences and industry expos, this role will be at the forefront of how the organization shows up in the world.

This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Approximately 40% of this role will involve travel to attend and support events.

The Impact You Will Have

  • Develop and execute IRL field marketing events (flagship activations, trade shows, small-format dinners, and local pop-ups) that drive awareness and pipeline growth in the SMB restaurant segment.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to design events that generate pipeline, accelerate deals, and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Identify and execute innovative activation opportunities that differentiate the brand, elevate the brand experience, and authentically reflect its identity and values.
  • Own cross-functional collaboration, ensuring events reflect brand identity while supporting demand generation, partnerships, and community-building.
  • Design and implement comprehensive reporting that captures, analyzes, and communicates the full impact of field marketing initiatives, tracking event performance, brand sentiment, attendee engagement, pipeline influence, revenue contribution, and ROI with clear visibility for leadership.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activities, constantly innovating to keep the organization’s events fresh, differentiated, and impactful.

Who You’ll Work With

  • Report to the VP, Marketing.
  • Work with Sales leadership and key members of the sales and partnership teams.
  • External agencies to support event production and logistics.
  • The Brand Marketing and Growth Team.

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, events marketing, or experiential marketing, ideally with high growth, fast-paced companies, or experience working in events agencies serving venture-backed companies.
  • Experience supporting and executing events, with a desire to take the next step: building an events function from the ground up. Excitement for the opportunity to own strategy, operations, and execution, and to prove the ability to create a scalable events program from scratch.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills: comfortable building and pulling reports to communicate the full impact of field marketing initiatives.
  • A builder’s mindset: brings ideas to the table and designs customer-centered experiences.
  • Curiosity and engagement with the events world; noticing who’s doing events well and speaking to trends and inspiration.

Pay and Benefits

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is between $115,000 -$140,000 USD, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package.
