About The Role The Commercial Sales Data Analyst at Soleo Health will play a vital role in supporting our commercial department through comprehensive data analysis and strategic insights. Based in Frisco, TX, this position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional travel requirements. The successful candidate will analyze sales, revenue, and market data to identify growth opportunities, optimize revenue streams, and enhance commercial strategies. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, finance, and leadership teams, the analyst will develop actionable insights that drive organizational success. Responsibilities include evaluating performance metrics, forecasting sales trends, and developing dashboards to visualize key data points. The role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in data analytics tools. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while supporting strategic initiatives for business growth and market expansion. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in commercial data analysis, sales performance evaluation, or market research roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and derive actionable insights
- Proficiency in CRM and commercial analytics tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and Power BI
- Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling
- Experience with SQL and data querying languages; knowledge of Python is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to senior leadership
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, revenue optimization, and market analysis techniques
- Ability to travel occasionally and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate commercial performance, identify trends, and recommend strategies to enhance revenue and market share
- Partner with leadership and finance teams to ensure alignment on budget planning, target setting, and resource allocation using data-driven insights
- Report on territory manager productivity by analyzing referral patterns and assessing activity by market and region
- Analyze margin performance across therapeutic areas, top customers, and new prescriber targets to identify growth opportunities
- Track key metrics within the customer acquisition funnel, including conversion rates and drop-off points
- Develop sales funnel analytics to forecast new starts based on referral activity and therapy types
- Reconcile data from CRM, ERP, and other systems to identify discrepancies and generate actionable insights
- Produce detailed reports and presentations for commercial managers and executives, highlighting sales performance and market trends
- Support commercial strategies through market trend analysis, referral source activity, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence
- Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to visualize key metrics for leadership review
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives such as market entry, product launches, and sales forecasting
- Identify inefficiencies in sales and marketing workflows and recommend process improvements based on data insights
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and other commercial initiatives to maximize ROI
