Role Description This is a part-time, remote Sponsorship Sales role on a commission basis. The Sponsorship Sales professional will identify and research potential sponsors for Summits Connect events, focusing on organizations that align with event themes and target audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, reaching out to prospects via email, phone, and virtual meetings, and presenting tailored sponsorship packages. The role involves negotiating sponsorship terms, managing the sales pipeline, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The individual will collaborate with event and marketing teams to ensure sponsor expectations are understood, deliverables are met, and long-term sponsor relationships are developed and nurtured. Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship management, with experience closing event or conference-related deals.
- Strong Sales abilities, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and managing a commission-based sales cycle.
- Demonstrated Lead Generation skills, including researching and qualifying prospects across multiple channels.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and present value propositions clearly.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time environment.
- Basic familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking systems and proficiency with common online communication platforms.
- Prior experience in B2B events, conferences, media, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
