We work primarily with service-based and local businesses and focus on building long-term, consistent growth through proven digital systems.
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager is responsible for creating consistent, engaging social media content for our clients to help grow their businesses, strengthen their online presence, and convey a strong, professional personal brand across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and publish posts on client social media accounts using GoHighLevel and Meta Business Suite
- Create custom graphic designs that align with client branding and communicate a clear, professional message
- Review and organize client Google Drive folders to ensure the correct content is being used for each post
- Write custom captions for each post that accurately match the image or video and the client’s brand voice
- Develop custom posting plans and content ideas for each client and obtain client approval before publishing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Meta Business Suite and GoHighLevel when problems arise
- Maintain strict consistency across all posts and double-check content to prevent errors
- Review and revise custom video content created by video editors before posting
- Ensure all posting schedules are followed precisely and meet internal quality standards
Must-Have QualificationsProven Social Media Management Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2+ years managing social media accounts for businesses (personal brands do not qualify)
- Direct experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Portfolio demonstrating consistent posting, not mockups or one-off examples
- Hands-on experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profiles
- (TikTok and YouTube Shorts are a plus)
Platform-Specific Knowledge
- Strong understanding of how each platform functions:
- Facebook for trust and local authority
- Instagram for brand presence and visuals
- Google Business Posts for local SEO and visibility
- Ability to:
- Write captions that sound natural and human, not AI-generated
- Use hashtags strategically, including local and service-based hashtags
- Select images that match post intent, not just aesthetics
- Experience posting 7 days per week for business accounts
Local Business & Service-Based Marketing Experience
- Experience working with home service businesses or local service professionals
- Understanding of:
- Local SEO signals from social media activity
- How social content supports Google Maps rankings
- City-based and service-based keyword usage in captions
- Ability to create content that builds trust, authority, and consistency, not just engagement
Content Creation & Visual Judgment
- Strong eye for brand consistency and visual quality
- Ability to select or request the correct images instead of reusing the same assets
- Understanding of:
- Before-and-after content
- Work-in-progress content
- Educational posts
- Brand-focused posts
- Comfortable working with:
- Stock images
- Client-provided content
- Basic graphic design tools such as Canva
Caption Writing & Brand Voice
- Ability to write clear, natural, non-salesy captions
- Comfortable adapting to different brand tones:
- Professional
- Friendly
- Trust-focused
- Avoids excessive emojis, buzzwords, or filler language
- Able to follow strict formatting and posting guidelines when required
Workflow, Organization & Accountability
- Highly organized and deadline-driven
- Comfortable working inside:
- Asana, ClickUp, or similar project management tools
- Google Drive for asset management
- Able to:
- Follow posting schedules exactly
- Handle revisions efficiently
- Communicate clearly when information or assets are missing
AI Usage (Correctly)
- Understands how to use AI as a tool, not a replacement
- Able to edit AI-assisted content so it:
- Sounds fully human
- Matches the brand voice
- Avoids repetition and obvious AI patterns
- Willing to explain how AI is used when asked
Communication & Professionalism
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable receiving feedback and implementing revisions
- Reliable, responsive, and professional at all times
- Treats client brands like real businesses, not test accounts
Availability & Reliability
- Able to maintain consistent weekly output
- Available during agreed working hours
- Comfortable scaling workload as new clients are added
Non-Negotiables
- 2+ years of business social media management experience
- Experience with GoHighLevel, Meta Business Suite, and Google Business Profiles
- Strong caption writing and content judgment
- Ability to manage multiple clients without missing deadlines
- Portfolio available upon request
Work Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Compensation
- $750 – $950 per month, depending on experience and skill level
