SmoothVoice builds AI voice agents that answer the phone for businesses, every call, day and night, and turn it into a booking, a lead or a saved customer. We are live with real customers across Australia, the UK and the US, and we are moving fast.
Every business on earth still loses money the same way. The phone rings and no one picks up. We are ending that. The technology has just crossed from impressive to impossible to ignore, and the companies that move now will own this category. We intend to be the one that does.
This is a founding role. Small team, blank pages, and your fingerprints on everything we build. We decide in hours and ship in days.
The Role
We are hiring our first dedicated salesperson in Australia. Not a cog in a machine someone else built. The person who builds the machine. You will own the full cycle, from first conversation to signed customer, and write the playbook everyone after you will run.
This is not a cold call grind. We create demand through content, partnerships and our own AI, so most of your conversations start warm. We are already answering real calls for real businesses, in a category the biggest AI labs are racing into.
What you will own
- The full sales cycle, from first conversation to signature
- Live demos, often handing the call to our own AI agent to sell itself
- The pricing, packaging and objection handling that becomes our playbook
- A clean pipeline and an honest forecast
- The voice of the Australian market inside the company

Is This You?
- You have carried a number and hit it, selling B2B to decision makers
- You have closed deals people had to think about, not twenty dollars a month sign ups. High ticket B2B is your home turf
- You move fast and need no permission to chase a deal
- You are sharp on a call and sharper in writing
- You can make AI feel simple and obvious to a sceptical buyer
Compensation
AUD 100,000 to 130,000 base, OTE AUD 180,000 to 220,000, commission uncapped, a genuine equity conversation for the right person, and a direct line to the founder every day. You will be early enough that your name is on the foundation.
Notes:
This is not a big company where you optimise a slide. It is a blank page and a market to take. If you want a calm and predictable year, this is the wrong room. If you want to look back in twelve months and barely recognise what you built, keep reading.
