Summary

Smart Communications is looking for a digitally savvy, results-driven Director, Global Integrated Marketing to lead the strategy, development, and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth across our core regulated industries: Insurance, Financial Services, and Healthcare.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will set the global campaign vision while staying close to execution to ensure high-quality delivery across priority go-to-market moments, flagship products, and industry-specific initiatives. You will orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Partner Marketing, Digital, Content, Corporate Communications, Marketing Operations, and Sales to deliver measurable enterprise business impact.

You will lead a high-performing global team of campaign managers, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a proven enterprise and large-enterprise B2B SaaS marketing leader who understands complex buying centers, multi-persona engagement, and how to translate strategy into pipeline at scale. This role reports to the VP of Global Demand Generation.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Own the global integrated campaign strategy

Develop and lead annual and quarterly integrated campaign planning aligned to Smart Communications’ growth priorities, industry focus areas, and enterprise go-to-market strategy.

  • Drive enterprise pipeline and revenue impact

Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and performance frameworks focused on enterprise and large-enterprise pipeline generation, buying-group engagement, conversion, speed-to-lead, and sales cycle acceleration.

  • Lead and develop a global team

Lead and develop a team of campaign managers with clear standards for performance, accountability, and execution excellence, while fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and ownership.

  • Design campaigns for complex buying centers

Partner closely with Product Marketing and Sales to build integrated campaigns that engage enterprise buying centers, address multiple personas and decision-makers, and support long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

  • Activate industry-specific marketing

Translate positioning and messaging into market-ready, industry-focused campaigns for Insurance, Financial Services, and Healthcare in partnership with Product and Vertical Marketing.

  • Collaborate across regions and partners

Partner with Regional Marketing and Partner Marketing to adapt global campaigns for regional execution across North America, EMEA, and APAC, while maintaining strategic consistency and scale.

  • Measure, optimize, and iterate

Own campaign measurement, dashboards, and reporting. Analyze performance across channels, personas, industries, and regions, using insights to continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Leverage modern GTM platforms and AI

Partner with Marketing Operations to leverage platforms such as 6sense, Marketo, Qualified, and SalesLoft, along with AI-based intent, personalization, and conversational technologies, to continually innovate and improve buying-group targeting, speed-to-lead, and pipeline productivity.

  • Manage budgets and agencies

Own campaign budgets, ensure effective resource allocation, and manage external agencies and partners to support global execution.

What we’re looking for:

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise and large-enterprise B2B SaaS marketing, with deep expertise in integrated marketing, campaign marketing, or demand generation.
  • Proven success driving pipeline and revenue impact through global, multi-channel campaigns tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience marketing to complex buying centers, with a clear understanding of enterprise personas, decision dynamics, and long sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing global campaigns across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Hands-on experience with 6sense, Marketo, Qualified, SalesLoft, and AI-driven marketing platforms to orchestrate enterprise campaigns and accelerate pipeline.
  • Experience marketing to regulated or highly complex industries such as Insurance, Financial Services, and/or Healthcare strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience; a proven player-coach who can develop talent while remaining close to execution.
  • Highly data-driven, with the ability to connect marketing performance to pipeline, revenue, and sales velocity.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and comfort effectively influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, matrixed, global organizations.
