Paid Media Manager — SimplySoles Brands
Twenty years in. The next chapter is the interesting one.
SimplySoles is a unique fashion house with three brands and over two decades of loyal customers. We have a clear ambition — move upmarket and become a leading luxury shoe and accessory company over the next 3 years. Our brands, Patricia Green, Paul Mayer, and ByPaige are Shopify-native and available on Nordstrom.com and other retailers. We're growing fast and need a paid media operator who knows how to turn budget into revenue — someone who has lived inside an agency, managed real money, and knows what moves the needle.
The Role - Own paid acquisition, end to end.
You'll architect and run paid media across Meta and Google — building the strategy, managing the spend, and driving measurable growth across all three brands. This isn't a coordinator role. You'll have real ownership over campaign structure, audience strategy, creative testing, and budget allocation, working hand-in-hand with our Organic Social Media Manager and team of creatives to turn our best content and top sellers into efficient, scalable paid performance.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google (Search, Shopping, Performance Max), and emerging channels including Pinterest and TikTok Ads
- Manage monthly budgets ranging from $25K–$100K+ with full accountability for ROAS, CAC, and revenue contribution
- Run structured A/B tests across audiences, ad sets, copy, and creative — and document what you learn so the whole team gets smarter
- Partner closely with the Social Media Manager to mine top-performing organic content, UGC, and campaign assets for paid amplification — if it's winning organically, you'll know how to scale it
- Translate product priorities and seasonal pushes into campaign plans that put our best-selling shoes in front of the right buyers at the right moment
- Own the full funnel — prospecting, retargeting, and retention — and know when to invest in each
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards that surface performance clearly and drive weekly decisions
- Work with creative on paid-specific briefs — knowing what hooks, formats, and copy conventions actually convert on each platform
- Stay current on platform changes, privacy shifts (ATT, signal loss), and new ad formats that matter for a fashion and footwear brand
- Manage pixel health, catalog feeds, conversion tracking, and product data quality across platforms
Qualifications — What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of hands-on paid media experience at a digital or performance marketing agency — you've managed client budgets, not just assisted
- Deep platform fluency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads — you can build a campaign from scratch without a playbook
- Proven track record managing monthly budgets of $25K–$100K+ with documented ROAS outcomes
- Demonstrated experience running A/B tests on audiences, creatives, and copy — and turning test results into a clear point of view
- Comfortable pulling UGC, organic content, and brand assets and knowing how to brief or adapt them for paid performance
- Data-literate: you own your numbers, know which metrics matter by funnel stage, and can explain performance to non-media stakeholders
- Experience with Google Shopping / Meta Catalog and dynamic product ads for e-commerce
- Familiarity with third-party measurement, attribution tools, or MTA models a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience with fashion, footwear, or lifestyle DTC brands
- Comfort with TikTok Ads Manager and Pinterest Ads
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo or similar ESP for paid + email coordination
- Exposure to Shopify analytics and GA4
- Experience running paid across a multi-brand portfolio
