Overview
A growing multi-location healthcare services organization is seeking a Director of Marketing to build and lead a modern, data-driven marketing function.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a hands-on marketing leader who can develop strategy, strengthen the team, and translate patient data into measurable growth. The Director will lead patient acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation while advancing the organization’s CRM, analytics, digital marketing, and AI capabilities.
This individual will serve as the organization’s senior marketing expert and have the autonomy to shape the department’s strategy, structure, processes, and future capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
- Lead and develop a lean internal marketing team responsible for creative, content, community engagement, and marketing execution.
- Own the full patient lifecycle, including acquisition, engagement, retention, reactivation, and loyalty.
- Use patient and performance data to identify growth opportunities, improve campaign effectiveness, and increase appointment volume.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of a more sophisticated CRM and patient-engagement platform.
- Partner closely with Information Technology to strengthen marketing systems, data integration, reporting, automation, and AI capabilities.
- Build actionable dashboards and reporting that connect marketing investments to appointments, patient activity, revenue, and return on investment.
- Oversee digital marketing programs and external partners across paid search, SEO, social media, content, and other acquisition channels.
- Develop scalable marketing strategies and playbooks that support an expanding portfolio of locations while remaining responsive to individual market needs.
- Strengthen local-market and community marketing programs that build awareness, trust, and patient relationships.
- Establish clear goals, performance indicators, budgets, and accountability across the marketing function.
- Evaluate the current team, agency relationships, technology, and workflows, recommending improvements where needed.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Information Technology, clinical leadership, and other executive stakeholders.
- Recruit and develop additional marketing talent as the organization continues to grow.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable healthcare, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive Director Level Marketing Experience, with a proven track record of successful campaign creation and team leadership.
- Healthcare marketing experience with a strong understanding of the patient journey and patient lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success driving patient or consumer acquisition, retention, reactivation, and measurable revenue growth.
- Experience supporting a multi-location, multi-site, or geographically dispersed organization.
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, marketing automation, and performance analytics.
- Experience partnering with IT or technology teams on CRM implementations, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Fluency in performance marketing, including paid search, SEO, digital media, conversion optimization, and agency management.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear business decisions.
- Familiarity with Power BI or comparable business-intelligence and visualization tools.
- Practical understanding of how AI can improve marketing execution, analytics, personalization, and operational efficiency.
- Experience developing scalable processes and building capabilities within a growing organization.
