Company Overview

DomainTools provides internet intelligence that helps security teams identify external risks, investigate threats, and protect their organizations. With more than 25 years of data and visibility into 97% of the internet, its platform covers domains, IPs, hostnames, SSL certificates, passive DNS, real-time threat feeds, and AI-native integrations. Customers include Fortune 500 companies and U.S. federal agencies.

About the Role

You will work across Product, Research, Sales, and Demand Generation to turn technical intelligence and investigative capabilities into clear narratives for security practitioners and decision-makers.

You will own positioning for assigned products and use cases, lead launches, build sales and partner enablement, and use market insights and customer evidence to sharpen DomainTools' differentiation.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging for assigned products and use cases, including investigation, threat hunting, fraud and brand protection, detection enrichment, and API-first data consumption.
  • Write for both security practitioners who evaluate the data and leaders who justify the investment. Keep messaging consistent across the website, sales materials, partners, and campaigns.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear buyer language while preserving differentiation, including DomainTools' data history, predictive Risk Scoring, guided infrastructure pivots, and MCP Server.
  • Plan and execute product launches and major releases with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Demand Generation. Define audiences, narratives, assets, enablement, and success measures.
  • Turn the product roadmap into an actionable launch calendar. Own the launch narrative for AI-native workflows, the MCP Server, and the shift toward autonomous investigation.
  • Create sales assets such as first-call decks, solution briefs, battle cards, talk tracks, objection handlers, demo narratives, and proof points.
  • Train Sales and Solutions Engineering on positioning, competitive differentiation, and product demonstrations. Support strategic and competitive deals when needed.
  • Equip resellers and technology partners with messaging suited to their buyers, including partners across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and TIP platforms.
  • Track buyer evaluation criteria and market shifts. Run regular win/loss and competitive reviews, and bring findings back to Product and Sales.
  • Contribute to analyst conversations, partner briefings, and other market-facing discussions.
  • Partner with Research and Content on thought leadership grounded in adversary infrastructure. Produce or direct web copy, solution pages, blog posts, and customer stories.
  • Build evidence for product claims through customer outcomes, third-party validation, investigation time benchmarks, and use-case proof points.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years in B2B product marketing, with meaningful experience in cybersecurity.
  • A portfolio showing product messaging, a launch, and sales assets such as battle cards, briefs, and decks.
  • Ability to explain technical products clearly without oversimplifying them for practitioner audiences.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security buying cycles, including intelligence buyers and vendors that consume data through APIs.
  • Cybersecurity fluency sufficient to brief a sales engineer or threat intelligence analyst independently, with an understanding of SOC work.
  • Curiosity about AI in security operations and a point of view on how agentic SOC workflows affect buying, evaluation, and use of intelligence tools.
  • Clear, confident writing skills and the ability to personally produce solution briefs, competitive materials, and training decks.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Sales, Research, and Demand Generation and build trust through the quality of your work.

Preferred

  • Experience with threat intelligence, DNS or domain data, fraud, security analytics, or SOC-facing products.
  • Hands-on experience with investigative or threat intelligence platforms.
  • Experience marketing API or data products.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and how security teams integrate LLMs into SOC operations.
  • Experience building or marketing within technology partner or reseller ecosystems, particularly SIEM, SOAR, XDR, or TIP platforms.
  • Analyst relations or partner marketing exposure.
  • Familiarity with SOC, fraud, or brand protection buying groups.
  • Experience marketing to or within the public sector or federal government.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary of $125,000 - $150,000 per year.
  • 10% annual bonus.
  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • Basic life insurance.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Additional well-being benefits.
  • Hardware and software needed to do your job.
