We are recruiting on behalf of a high-performing paid social agency that specialises in Meta advertising. The agency manages approximately $1,000,000 in monthly ad spend across a portfolio of 15 active client accounts, supporting brands across eCommerce, DTC, lead generation, webinars, high- and low-ticket funnels, B2B, and B2C markets.

Rate: $5,000 - $5,500 USD per month

This role has been created to strengthen the agency’s operational leadership as it continues to grow.

The team consists of 14 specialists, including media buyers, a creative director, creative strategists, video editors, and graphic designers. The agency is known for high-volume creative testing (100+ ads per month), research-led strategy, and strong client retention.

The business is now entering a structured growth phase, introducing a pod-based operating model designed to scale to 20+ client accounts while maintaining high delivery standards.

Currently, the founder is heavily involved across multiple areas of the business, client management, media oversight, creative review, and overall operations. While this approach has helped the agency grow successfully, it now limits the company’s ability to scale further.

The Account Director will take ownership of the day-to-day operational and performance management layer of the agency, allowing the founder to focus on new client acquisition, partnerships, and strategic growth.

This position functions as a senior leadership role within the agency, responsible for client performance, internal team coordination, and operational execution.

The Account Director will oversee client performance and day-to-day operations across a pod of approximately 20 client accounts. The role will manage the media buying team, act as a key point of contact for clients alongside the founder, and ensure each account is operating against a clear performance strategy.

While the Account Director will not be expected to build campaigns daily, they must have a strong technical understanding of Meta advertising, be comfortable analysing performance data, and provide strategic direction to the media buying team. In certain situations, they may also step in operationally to ensure campaigns are launched or issues are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing client relationships across assigned accounts, including proactive communication, performance updates, and timely responses to client queries
  • Participate in client calls alongside the founder and lead calls independently when required
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts, including new testing initiatives, funnel improvements, creative angles, and audience expansion
  • Escalate complex issues internally with clear context and recommended solutions
  • Lead account-level performance strategy across Meta (primary channel) and Google (secondary channel)
  • Review the work of media buyers and provide feedback on campaign structure, targeting, bidding strategies, and creative deployment
  • Identify underperforming accounts early and develop proactive improvement plans
  • Collaborate closely with the creative director to ensure creative output aligns with performance objectives
  • Provide feedback on creative assets when necessary to ensure messaging and positioning align with campaign strategy

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in performance marketing, paid social, or digital agency environments
  • Previous agency experience strongly preferred, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Background as a media buyer, performance marketer, or account manager, with strong knowledge of paid social campaigns
  • Prior experience managing a team or direct reports
  • Experience working across multiple verticals including eCommerce, DTC, lead generation, B2B, B2C, webinars, and high/low ticket funnels
