Online Community Manager

Now Hiring: Social Media Community Management Coordinator (Contract)

📅 Duration: 12-Month Contract

⏰ Schedule: 37.5 hours/week | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET

Our client is seeking a Social Media Community Management Coordinator to support its growing social media team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media engagement, online communities, content discovery, and brand advocacy.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage inbound and outbound engagement across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
• Review and respond to social media interactions and Google reviews, escalating customer concerns when appropriate.
• Conduct social listening and proactive community engagement to strengthen brand relationships.
• Assist with sentiment analysis, reporting, and social media insights.
• Support User-Generated Content (UGC) initiatives and "Surprise & Delight" programs by identifying content opportunities, securing permissions, and creating organic social posts.
• Track influencer and creator activity using Sprout Influence and native social platforms.
• Identify retailer highlights, creator pitches, and noteworthy influencer mentions for internal teams.

What We're Looking For:

✅ 1-2 years of community management experience

✅ Experience with Sprout Social or similar platforms (Hootsuite, Khoros, Later, Sprinklr, Dash, etc.)

✅ Strong written communication and customer engagement skills

✅ Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

✅ Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other photo editing tools

✅ Ability to make sound judgment calls and determine when issues should be escalated

The hourly range for this position is W2 $25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
