Brand Marketing Manager - Campaigns and Activations

Reports to: Head of Brand & Marketing · Location: North America (preferred), Remote ·

Type: Full-time · Travel: ~5-15%, clustered around activation windows

The job in two sentences:

You align internal stakeholders on brand strategy, then manage the external vendors and partners who bring it to market — across paid channels (CTV and linear TV, radio, podcast, outdoor, social) and on the ground through branded activations (partnerships, pop-up stores, events, sponsorships).

You own the relationships, the analysis of results, and the recommended next steps.

You are the connective tissue between brand strategy and everything that reaches the market. Internally, you align stakeholders on what we are saying and when. Externally, you manage the vendors and partners who execute it, hold them to the goals, and bring back the analysis of what worked.

What you own:

Brand strategy alignment (internal):

  • Translate the brand strategy into one campaign and activation calendar that internal teams plan against
  • Run the recurring forum where brand plans get socialised and timing conflicts get resolved
  • Brief internal and creative teams so every channel and every activation carries the same message architecture and claim set
  • Keep the approved claim inventory current, and make sure only approved claims reach market

Campaign execution — TV, radio, podcast, outdoor, social:

  • Identify and recommend vendors and agencies across CTV and linear TV, radio, podcast, outdoor and social; raise the requests and align stakeholders on selection
  • Manage the day-to-day vendor relationship through delivery: briefs, asset specs, deadlines, flighting, and QA before anything goes live
  • Track delivery against goals and flag gaps early — while there is still time to fix them — with a clear recommendation on the fix
  • Manage host-read podcast and talent-read radio: talking points, claim compliance, approvals

Branded activations — partnerships, pop-ups, events, sponsorships:

  • Manage experiential and production partners for pop-up stores, events and sponsorship activations, from brief through build and teardown
  • Run brand and cause partnerships day to day: timelines, deliverables, co-created assets, and approvals on both sides
  • Run our hospitality partnership program day to day, including the use of partner properties for activations and content capture
  • Be present for the key builds and events

Vendor and partner relationship management:

  • Be the single point of contact for the brand vendor and partner roster
  • Raise requests, scopes and briefs, and route them to the right internal owners for approval
  • Hold regular performance conversations with each vendor against agreed goals
  • Keep one master timeline across every campaign and activation, with dependencies and go/no-go dates visible to stakeholders

Measurement, analysis and next steps:

  • No activation ships without a way to measure it. Every activation has a capture mechanic — QR, landing page, scan tracking — live before it goes to market
  • Consolidate vendor and platform reporting into a single post-campaign and post-activation read
  • Analyse results against goals and turn them into recommended next steps: what to scale, what to change, what to stop
  • Bring the analysis and the recommendation to the brand review, and align internal and external stakeholders on what happens next

First 12 months:

  • One master campaign and activation calendar that every stakeholder actually plans against
  • Every activation shipped with its capture mechanic live, and a post-activation read delivered within two weeks of close
  • Vendor roster rationalised: every partner on agreed goals, with regular performance conversations in place
  • Brand-tracking read established as the shared scoreboard for brand activity
  • At least one scale/change/stop recommendation per quarter adopted by the brand review

Who you are:

  • 5+ years in brand marketing, integrated marketing, experiential, or agency account management
  • You have run paid brand channels — at minimum two of CTV/linear TV, radio, podcast, outdoor, social — and you know what good vendor delivery looks like versus what a vendor tells you it looks like
  • You have delivered physical activations — pop-ups, events or sponsorships — on site and on time
  • A strong relationship manager: you get the best out of vendors without owning the contract
  • Comfortable with numbers. You can read campaign and activation results and turn them into a recommendation, not just a report
  • You can align Growth, Retail and Creative without authority over any of them
  • Relentlessly organised across many concurrent workstreams. You default to written timelines with named owners
  • AI-forward: you already use AI daily to move faster on briefs, reporting and analysis, and you are curious about what it can take off your plate next

Bonus points:

  • CPG, consumer health, sleep or wellness category experience
  • Claim-compliance experience in a regulated or science-claims category
  • Club or mass retail activation experience — warehouse-club roadshows and in-store events
  • Hands-on with brand tracking (Tracksuit or similar) and brand lift studies
  • Hospitality or travel partnership experience

This role is probably not for you if…

  • You need direct authority to get things done — this role runs on influence across teams you don't manage and vendors you don't contract
  • You want to set strategy and let vendors run unexamined — the analysis and the recommendation are the job, not an afterthought
  • You deliver reports rather than recommendations
  • You want to be behind a desk — key builds and events need you there
