2. About the Opportunity:
The Events Project Manager is responsible for leading the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning to live execution and post-event analysis, for both virtual and in-person experiences. This role ensures events run smoothly and reflect the organization’s brand and standards. The position is critical for delivering high-quality, engaging experiences that support the organization’s mission and growth. It requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing complex projects in a dynamic, startup environment.
3. Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end execution of virtual and in-person events such as roundtables, webinars, and conferences
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue, vendors, A/V, speakers, and on-site support
• Act as central project manager across marketing, content, design, and sales teams for alignment and timely delivery
• Optimize event operations workflows for improved efficiency and scalability
• Support creation and distribution of event marketing materials and communications
• Lead live event execution, troubleshooting issues to ensure quality attendee experiences
• Track, analyze, and report on event performance and metrics
• Ensure brand consistency across all event touchpoints
4. Requirements:
• 4 to 6 years of experience in event execution, operations, or project management
• Proven ability to manage virtual and in-person events end-to-end with strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills, including timelines, budgets, and concurrent event handling
• Experience coordinating vendors, venues, A/V production, and event logistics
• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and navigate a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability and quick problem-solving during live event execution
• Experience tracking and reporting event performance metrics
• Comfortable working remotely within a fast-moving, cross-functional team
• Experience in a startup environment
• Passion for the mission and leveraging technology for impact
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range $45,000 to $55,000 DOE; base pay may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience
• Compensation package may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off
