2. About the Opportunity:
The Deliverability Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and improving email deliverability for high-volume senders. This position involves guiding clients through complex migration processes, managing sender reputation, and fostering relationships with Internet Service Providers. The specialist supports internal teams and customers by providing expert analysis, strategic recommendations, and education on deliverability best practices. Collaboration with engineering and product teams is part of the role to enhance customer success and influence product development.
3. Responsibilities:
• Act as a knowledgeable resource on email deliverability challenges for teams and customers.
• Manage migrations for high-volume senders, including IP warm-up and transitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Internet Service Providers to optimize deliverability.
• Conduct deliverability assessments and provide clear, actionable reports.
• Offer guidance to improve deliverability performance over time.
• Educate internal teams and customers on deliverability best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support customer success and inform product direction.
4. Requirements:
• 5 to 10 years of experience in email deliverability, messaging infrastructure, or related technical fields.
• Experience building or scaling deliverability practices.
• Knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), IP/domain reputation, and ISP inbox evaluation.
• Experience managing IP warm-up and sender reputation during migrations or platform transitions.
• Ability to analyze deliverability data and translate it into clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple customer situations, prioritizing by urgency and impact.
• Experience establishing processes, documentation, or best practices in a technical specialty area.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 USD per year.
