About the Opportunity:
The B2B Marketing team is evolving to provide the Voice of the Customer and competitive intelligence within the organization, partnering with Sales, Product, and Digital Merchandising to inform strategic decisions. The Customer Research & Insights Analyst will deepen customer understanding, monitor competitors, and deliver actionable insights that drive best-in-class experiences and business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative studies including surveys, focus groups, wear tests, and usability studies
• Manage survey programming and analysis in Qualtrics ensuring data quality and integrity
• Develop NPS and CX measurement programs and synthesize feedback across the customer journey
• Build and maintain a structured competitive monitoring program
• Analyze competitor pricing, services, technology, and customer experience; deliver quarterly reports
• Leverage competitive intelligence tools such as CompetiScan, Crayon, and RFP insights for benchmarking
• Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis covering industry verticals, company tiers, spend categories, decision-maker roles, and buying triggers
• Integrate behavioral data including e-commerce analytics and journey mapping into insights
• Create and maintain a centralized insights repository with regular reporting cadence
• Present actionable recommendations to influence business decisions
• Support outsourced research projects by managing timelines and contracts
• Develop customer personas based on research to inform product, marketing, and CX strategies
• Create customer stories and journey narratives to bring insights to life and influence strategic decisions
Requirements:
• BA/BS in Marketing Research, Psychology, Statistics, or related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in customer insights, market research, or competitive intelligence with proven ability to lead projects independently and influence stakeholders
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills; ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable strategies
• Proficiency in Qualtrics, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with competitive intelligence platforms and usability tools
• Familiarity with syndicated data sources such as NPD, IRI, Nielsen, and Adobe Analytics is desirable
• Retail apparel and B2B experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; ability to drive decisions across cross-functional teams
