Head of Social Media (Volunteer Role)

Role Description

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who's execution-driven, technically literate, and genuinely excited about the mission. You'll own radia's social media presence end-to-end: planning, creating, and publishing high-quality content consistently across LinkedIn, Instagram, and beyond. You'll translate complex tech topics — AI, security, software engineering — into stories people actually want to read, manage a forward-looking content calendar, and collaborate closely with our events and partnerships team.

This is not a strategy-only role. We're looking for someone who executes.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, create, and publish content consistently across platforms
• Build and manage a content calendar (no dead weeks)
• Translate technical topics into engaging, accessible content
• Collaborate with events, partnerships, and leadership to amplify key initiatives
• Analyze performance and continuously improve

What we're looking for

• Technical background — CS, data, engineering, or technical product/marketing
• Experience in tech content or marketing (startup, agency, or tech company)
• Highly reliable and self-directed — ownership energizes you
• Strong eye for clear, compelling communication
• Genuine passion for women in tech and building inclusive communities
