The Role
We're looking for a Personal Brand Strategist who will be the operational backbone of our client content operations.
You'll be conceptualizing content strategies for high-level founders and entrepreneurs, managing production workflows, coordinating with our editing and design teams, and overseeing a social media manager to ensure content gets posted on time and on brand.
This is a full-time contractor position with flexible hours. We care about results, not clock-watching. Some days you might work 2 hours, other days 8+. If something needs to get done, it gets done (Weekends excluded unless the content workflow is off track).
What You'll Actually Be DoingContent Strategy & Ideation
- Develop sophisticated content concepts and strategies for high-level founders and entrepreneurs (Long form and Short form content)
- Stay ahead of social media trends and translate them into actionable content ideas that elevate personal brands
- Understand each client's unique voice, audience, and business goals to create tailored strategies
- Think at the executive level—our clients are building serious businesses, not just posting for likes
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage the full content production pipeline from concept to publication
- Coordinate with video editors and graphic designers to ensure projects move forward on schedule
- Track deadlines religiously and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Create and manage content briefs for graphic designers to prepare assets for social media posting
- Use Notion to organize projects, workflows, and client documentation
Team Coordination
- Directly manage our social media manager who handles content posting
- Ensure seamless handoffs between editing, design, and posting teams
- Communicate clearly and proactively via Slack with all team members
- Set expectations and hold team members accountable to deadlines
Social Media Execution
- Work within Later.com and other scheduling platforms to manage content calendars
- Oversee (and occasionally execute) content posting across multiple client accounts
- When a trend is just right be ready to move the posting schedule around and get that post out
AI-Powered Efficiency
- Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, generate ideas, and improve output quality
- Stay current on AI capabilities and find innovative ways to work smarter

- Social media native: You live and breathe social media. You understand platform algorithms, trends, and what makes content perform
- Executive-level thinking: You understand business strategy and how personal branding drives revenue. This isn't about cute captions—it's about building influence and authority
- Detail-obsessed: You catch typos, formatting issues, and brand inconsistencies before they go live
- Self-starter: You don't need hand-holding. You see what needs to be done and you do it
- Organized multitasker: You can manage 10+ client projects simultaneously without losing track
- Proactive communicator: You flag issues early, ask clarifying questions, and keep everyone in the loop
- Long-term thinker: You're looking for a home, not a stepping stone. You want to grow with a company over years, not months
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Notion, Slack, Later.com, and AI tools. You adapt quickly to new platforms
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing (preferably working with founders, executives, or high-level entrepreneurs)
- Proven experience managing projects and coordinating with creative teams
- Deep understanding of personal branding and content marketing for business growth
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (Later.com experience is a major plus)
- Experience with content workflows involving video editors and graphic designers
- Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn best practices
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Poppy, etc.) to enhance productivity and creativity
- Experience with Notion and Slack for project management and team communication
Bonus Points
- You have your own personal brand or have managed personal brands for founders/entrepreneurs
- Experience in the creator economy or working with high-profile clients
- Background in video content strategy
- Understanding of monetization strategies and audience growth tactics

Compensation & Logistics:
- Position Type: Full-time contractor (1099)
