Purpose of the Role:

We’re looking for dynamic, people-focused individuals to become the face of our business as a Lettings Valuer (Local Lettings Partner). In this role, you’ll provide expert advice and guidance to landlords, helping them navigate the lettings process with confidence and ease. With your knowledge and friendly approach, you’ll deliver a service that’s not just good—but simply the best.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working remotely to support landlords throughout the lettings journey.
  • Offering up-to-date advice on property legislation and the rental market.
  • Valuing new business opportunities and converting them into successful instructions.
  • Guiding clients 1-2-1 through the entire process with a personal and professional touch.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships through a sales-through-service approach—no cold calling required.

  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Whether you’re crafting an email, preparing marketing material, or chatting with a landlord, clear and professional communication is key. You’ll be able to explain complex information in a simple, friendly way.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and Access to a Vehicle for Business Use: This role gives you flexibility, but also requires mobility. You’ll need to travel locally for valuations, viewings, and client meetings, so reliable transport is a must.
  • Outstanding Sales Ability: While this isn’t a cold-calling role, you’ll still be selling—through service, trust, and expertise. You should be confident identifying opportunities, presenting your value, and converting interest into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Accurate Market Valuations for Landlords: Use your local knowledge, property insights, and data-driven tools to confidently appraise properties and advise landlords on the best rental value to attract quality tenants quickly.
  • Engage and Support Customers Throughout the Journey: From first contact to a successful let, you’ll build strong relationships and offer tailored support every step of the way—making the process simple, transparent, and stress-free.
  • Demonstrate Excellent Knowledge of the Local Property Market: As a local expert, you’ll stay ahead of trends, pricing shifts, and demand patterns in your area, using this insight to add real value to client conversations and decisions.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador: You’ll represent our brand with pride—whether online, face-to-face, or over the phone—upholding our values, maintaining professionalism, and delivering service that reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Coordinate with the Central Operations Team: Work closely with our support hub to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for customers, from marketing and compliance to referencing and move-ins.
  • Secure Instructions and Upsell Add-On Products: Confidently win new business by demonstrating our value, and increase revenue through intelligent upselling of relevant services such as property management, insurance, or professional photography.
  • Stay Up to Date with UK Lettings Legislation: Keep your knowledge sharp and current to ensure compliance at every stage—both for the business and your own practices. You’ll be the go-to expert on legal obligations and industry standards
  • Upsell Through Face-to-Face Sales: You’ll use your in-person interactions to not just sell a service, but build trust, identify needs, and offer tailored solutions—turning conversations into long-term client relationships.
  • Achieve KPIs and Targets: You’ll take ownership of your performance, working towards clearly defined goals and consistently striving to exceed expectations—because success here is both recognised and rewarded.
