Appointment Setter

Praxis Distribution Partners

About the Role:Praxis Distribution Partners is hiring remote Appointment Setters to join our growing outbound team. For over a decade, we have been placing outbound calls on behalf of leading asset management firms and financial services clients, and we are expanding our team to support continued client growth.

This is a phone-first role focused on booking qualified meetings between financial professionals and our clients. You will work from prepared contact lists and proven talk tracks. Your job is to get qualified prospects onto a calendar, professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospects from prepared contact lists.
  • Schedule qualified introductory meetings for our clients.
  • Follow established talk tracks while adapting your tone to each conversation.
  • Handle objections professionally and maintain composure across a full shift.
  • Log call outcomes, notes, and next steps accurately in our CRM.
  • Complete email and calendar follow-up to confirm booked meetings.
  • Meet daily and weekly activity and meeting targets.
  • Participate in team check-ins and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of outbound calling, telemarketing, or phone-based sales experience.
  • Clear, professional, and confident speaking voice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Quiet, dedicated home workspace with reliable high-speed internet and a working headset.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent across a full shift.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • US-based and authorized to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
  • Financial services or B2B calling experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Hourly rate of $18 to $22 per hour
  • 1099 independent contractor engagement.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • Consistent weekday business hours
  • Bi-weekly payment.
